Our goal is to better understand the paranormal and help those living with paranormal activity.
Research and technology are the tools needed to unlock the true nature of haunted places and ghosts.
Ghost Haunting On Site Technology is a scientific laboratory devoted to the study of the paranormal. Data gathered from reported paranormal events is evaluated based on all the individual data points collected and compared to a database of haunted locations reported to us at an earlier time. The database is constructed of literaly hundreds of well documented paranormal encounters. All of these encounters have all met a level of qualifying criteria to be included in the database. Each new report qualifying for inclusion adds to the baseline of knowledge used to evaluate all new reports.
This system of study allows for:
Comparison of what many call "Hollywood" hauntings and actual reported paranormal events. The names of the persons involved and the locations of events are known.
Creation of a picture of a true reported haunting. This will help us understand how often various phenomenon is reported. What is a typical haunting?
Can hauntings be dangerous? What have others done to make the haunting go away? Can we make them go away? How long will this last? Can we alter the activity? Should we?
Why is accurate information about paranormal events important?
A realistic view of what a real ghostly encounter is like helps weed out frauds. Fraudulent claims tend to follow patterns that look more like Hollywood Haunts than what typically is reported.
Accurate accounts lead to better understanding of a haunted location. Better understanding leads to better predictability in how a haunting may work. This predictability in activity allows for better conditions to conduct scientific research.
Information helps create better technology to study the paranormal and allows us to make better use of the technology currently available. This helps guide future research projects in a more productive direction.
Database system creates a realistic baseline of typical paranormal activities to aid in creating a real world view of paranormal risk assescment, haunting cessation, and validatition of claim, all leading to better decisions on how to deal with a haunted location.
All the data collected can be used to help researchers find the most probable locations to look for ghosts. The information can help point to reseach worthy sites based on information gathered not just hollywood/ folklore stereotypes.
